Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Swifty Cerritos Tree Service regarding your use of our services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

Swifty Cerritos Tree Service provides professional tree care services including but not limited to tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding and removal, emergency tree services, land and lot clearing, tree health and maintenance, arborist consulting, and shrub and hedge trimming. All services are performed by trained professionals using industry-standard equipment and techniques.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for our services. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary from estimates if site conditions differ from those observed during the initial assessment or if additional work is required. We will notify you of any significant price changes before proceeding with work.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. For large projects, we may require a deposit before beginning work. Any outstanding balance not paid within 30 days of invoice date may be subject to late fees and collection costs.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel scheduled services with at least 24 hours notice without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. For emergency services, cancellation fees may apply if our crew has already been dispatched to your location.

Property Access and Conditions

You agree to provide clear access to the work area and to inform us of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other obstacles that may affect our work. You are responsible for securing pets and ensuring that the work area is clear of personal property. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities or obstacles not disclosed to us prior to beginning work.

Permits and Regulations

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits required for tree work on your property. We can assist with permit applications, but the ultimate responsibility for compliance with local regulations rests with the property owner. We reserve the right to refuse service if required permits have not been obtained.

Liability and Insurance

Swifty Cerritos Tree Service carries comprehensive liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. We are not liable for damage to property or landscaping that results from conditions beyond our control, including but not limited to hidden defects in trees, underground obstacles, or extreme weather conditions. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered.

Warranty

We warrant that all services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. However, we cannot guarantee the survival or future health of trees, as many factors affecting tree health are beyond our control. Any warranty claims must be made in writing within 30 days of service completion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swifty Cerritos Tree Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
